Clicking burners that never light. A gas flame that burns yellow and lazy. An electric coil or induction zone that stays cold while its neighbor works fine. Cooktop faults are usually specific and fixable: a cracked spark module, a clogged burner port, a failed switch, or a loose element receptacle. In Livermore kitchens we also see spilled sauce shorting out an igniter switch, which makes every burner click at once. We test each zone, clean or replace the ignition parts, and confirm the flame pattern. Dial us or start with the quote form.

We cover 94550 and 94551 in Livermore, plus nearby Pleasanton, Dublin, and Tracy.
Modern gas ranges need electricity for ignition and controls. After an outage, the board can lock up. Unplug the range for five minutes, then plug it back in. If burners still won't spark or the oven stays dark, the board or igniter module needs testing.
A brief whiff right at ignition can happen. A smell that lingers, or one you notice when nothing is on, is not normal. Shut the gas valve, open windows, leave, and call your gas utility first. Then call us for the repair.
The glass itself is replaced, not patched. Cracks let moisture reach the elements and wiring underneath, which causes shorts and nuisance shutoffs. We check whether the elements and limiters survived, since those often need attention at the same time.
On electric ranges, a weakening bake element or one failed leg of power slows heating badly. On gas, a tired igniter draws current but never reaches the temperature that opens the gas valve. Both are testable in one visit.
Most Livermore calls get a same-week window, and mornings often open up sooner. Call us and tell us the brand and what the appliance is doing. If it's a leak or a fridge that's warming up, say so — we move those up when a slot allows.
Call us or fill out the form. Describe what you hear, smell or see. Odd noise, standing water, no heat. Have the model number handy if you can reach it.
Pick a window that fits your day. We confirm the address and ask a few questions first, so the van carries parts that commonly fail on your machine.
Our technician tests the machine, explains what failed, and lays out the repair options. Many jobs finish the same visit. Special-order parts get scheduled before we leave.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the fault, approve the written quote, get it fixed. Starting takes about a minute.
